[Life from within a hospital room, after the freak accident involving Splendid and the hazy in-between from when she was found, helped, and eventually delivered to the town's clinic, is freakishly structured and monotonous in comparison, like clockwork. At first she is grateful for the reprieve, but the novelty wears off fast.
